, : A new type of fruit. Soviet War News, 575, 4

The Soviet Research Centre for Tropical and Southern Fruits has produced several new types of peaches, plums, and a fruit obtained by crossing a tangerine, a lemon and an orange. It is shaped like a pear, with skin that-is easily removed. The flavour is that of a tangerine, with the acid piquancy of a lemon. The fruit ripens in November.
