, : Alan, Duke of Northumberland Memorial Fund. Ninth report of the Management Committee on research work into sheep and lamb disease with a report on grass sickness in horses. Alan, Duke of Northumberland Memorial Fund. Ninth report of the Management Committee on research work into sheep and lamb disease with a report on grass sickness in horses, Newcastle upon Tyne: King's College., 36

A description of the work and objects of the Fund is followed by brief notes on sheep diseases of common occurrence in the northern counties of England. The results of fairly comprehensive research on BORDER PINING in sheep and of a large-scale field trial of pheno-thiazine and mineral supplements are given. A disease of sheep known as " BLACK-RUSH " is described and a combination of Trichostrongylus infestation and malnutrition is tentatively suggested as a possible cause.
