Antagonistic effect of the thyroid hormone on the corpus luteum and of the follicular hormone on the pseudopregnant uterus

, : Antagonistic effect of the thyroid hormone on the corpus luteum and of the follicular hormone on the pseudopregnant uterus. Klin. Wochenschr, 14: 1068-1070

Rabbits served by a sterile buck were fed with thyroid material. Examination of the ovary and the uterus showed a decrease in size of the corpus luteum, which was greater the longer the treatment lasted. Injection of follicular hormone into pseudopregnant animals did not have an antagonistic effect.
