Application of the iodide-thiocyanate process in the determination of urinary sugar

, : Application of the iodide-thiocyanate process in the determination of urinary sugar. Pharm. Ztg, 80: 695-696

Urinary sugar is determined rapidly and accurately by boiling with a known quantity of Fehling's solution, acidifying, removing excess of Cu. with KI and KCNS, and titrating the liberated I with O.1N Na2S2O3. The urine generally requires dilution. Brit. Chem.
