Breeding goats and sheep for milk production

, : Breeding goats and sheep for milk production. Curr. Sci, 13: 221-222

THE shortage of milk in India is due to the inability to feed sufficiently the milch cows and buffaloes. The situation might be alleviated by using the smaller livestock which produce milk more efficiently.
