Hydrocarpus oils in Ceylon, part II

, : Hydrocarpus oils in Ceylon, part II. Trop. Agriculturist, Ceylon. 99: 140-2

Data are given on the constitution and properties of the seed oil of Hydnocarpus anthelmintica grown in Ceylon. Species reported on in an earlier paper were H. wightiana and H. kurzii. H. wightiana is to be preferred to H. anthelmintica on account of the better keeping quality and higher oil content of the seeds, and the fact that the oil is more suitable for medicinal purposes.
