Nutritional cataract in the Norway rat (Mus norvegicus)

, : Nutritional cataract in the Norway rat (Mus norvegicus). Southern Med. J, 26: 128-129

Cataracts were produced just as readily in the wild grey rat as they had previously been produced in the albino rat, by diets deficient in vitamin B2. Out of 34 young rats which survived on the deficient diet for at least 46 days, 29 developed cataract. S. J.
