Regular work against the larvae of Anopheles maculipennis, Mg. was continued at Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Medemblik in 1929. It is estimated that over 20.5 million adults were destroyed at Amsterdam. At Medemblik, the treated area was reduced from a distance of 3 km. to 2 km. from the protected centre, a reduction of 37 per cent, of the area.
