An account is given of investigations in southern Dancalia (Abyssinia) in 1938-39 on the susceptibility of native and other races to malaria. The Anophelines observed were Anophelesgambiae, Giles, A.pharoensis, Theo., A.pretoriensis, Theo., and A. dancalicus, Corradetti, and of these A. gambiae is the principal vector.
