, : Seeds in hay chaff. Sborn. Ceskosl. Akad. Zemed, 11: 426-36

Hay chaff is sometimes used for additional sowing on grassland, where growth is becoming thin. To obtain data on the composition of hay chaff from Czechoslovakia seventy samples were analysed. Diagrams and tables show the constancy and percentage of different seed species. In one kg. of hay chaff, fifteen to 388, 000 seeds were found.
