In the skin of the old sow, especially in the flank, were many caseous tuberculous nodules up to the size of a pea, as well as cicatrices and sinuses. The local (subiliac) lymph node was also tuberculous. In the deep muscles of the abdominal wall of the flank region there were caseous nodules as large as walnuts in considerable numbers. Lesions were found in the lungs, pleura, liver, spleen, kidneys and skeleton.
