The treatment of hypochromic anemia in college women

, : The treatment of hypochromic anemia in college women. J. Amer. Dietetic Assoc, 12: 537-546

A group of anaemic college women whose Hb averaged 11.4 g. per 100 ml. were treated with 25 mg. Fe daily in the form of ferric pyrophosphate. This amount was sufficient to raise the Hb to a normal level. The addition of Cu did not cause a more rapid response.
