II. Sixty-two geese found on faecal examination by the method of FULLEBORN & DARLING to be infested with A. anseris were treated with carbon tetrachloride, copper sulfate, tetrachlorethylene, santonin, "osarsol", or naphthalene. Copper sulfate, naphthalene and santonin were found to be ineffective in tolerated doses. Five out of six geese treated with doses of 6-10 ml. of carbon tetrachloride were found to be free from infestation P.M.
