Agrobiologic percentage method of evaluating fertilizer tests: II. Phosphate and oats; mixed fertilizer and potatoes

, : Agrobiologic percentage method of evaluating fertilizer tests: II. Phosphate and oats; mixed fertilizer and potatoes. Soil Sci 80(1): 75-83

Continuing previous work (Soil Sci. 79: 467) the superiority of the percentage method (based on the Mitscherlich-Baule yield equation) over conventional analysis of variance in evaluation of the direct interaction between plants and their growth factors is further demonstrated. Superiority of the agrobiologic percentage method consists in that it can be applied by a graphical method (standard yield diagram) which automatically defines the limit of yield that can be attained in a given case and defines the original or initial fertility status of the soil.
