Behaviour of phosphorus in the liver and kidneys of rats after injection of glucose and fructose

, : Behaviour of phosphorus in the liver and kidneys of rats after injection of glucose and fructose. Bol. Soc. ital. Biol. sper, 31: 1111-1113

Three groups each of 10 rats weighing about 100 g. were fed on the McCollum diet of wheat, casein, dried milk, butter, salt and CaCO3 and were then killed. Rats of one group received 0. 5 g. glucose in 50 per cent, solution intraperitoneally half an hour before being killed, those of another group fructose. Inorganic and total acid-soluble P were estimated in liver and kidney.
