In 22 cases with steatorrhoea confirmed by analysis of the faeces, a dose of 10 or 20 mg. folic acid was given daily for 1 or 2 months in addition to other treatment which included low-fat and high-protein diet with liver preparations and vitamins. No clear evidence was obtained of any beneficial effect of folic aeid on the clinical condition, gain in weight, or character of the faeces. A. M.
