Investigations into the drought resistance and growth of Larch seedlings on different horizons of an iron podzol of sub-alpine Pinus cembra/Larix decidua forests.

, : Investigations into the drought resistance and growth of Larch seedlings on different horizons of an iron podzol of sub-alpine Pinus cembra/Larix decidua forests.. Vegetatio. (1949). 1: 2/3, 79-22

The tests were made with L. decidua raised on soils from different horizons of an iron podzol of the sub-alpine Rhodoreto- Vaccinietum of the Upper Engadin, and were part of an investigation into reasons for the regression of Larch in this region. The different soils had no effect on germination %.
