, : Nutrition and appetite training during illness. Journal of the American Medical Association 151(4): 253-260

Literature which is a guide to the maintenance of adequate nutrition during illness is reviewed. The problem of loss of appetite is considered and 4 case reports are given to show the effectiveness of appetite training which consisted in giving only one or two meals a day. Meals were increased in size and in number when all food was being eaten. F. C.
