Responses of barley and oats to 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid

, : Responses of barley and oats to 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. Iowa St. Coll. J. Sci, 26: 194-95

Data concerning the response of 10 varieties of oats and 9 barley varieties to 3 forms of 2, 4-D at 4 stages of growth indicate that, although minimum injury is caused by applications made between the five-leaved and early boot stages, Wisconsin 38 barley and Mindo, Clinton and Marion oats are highly susceptible to the butyl ester.
