Two rice varieties resistant to blast (Piricularia oryzae). Kameji and Mubo-aikoku, and two susceptible varieties, Omachi and Kokuryo-miyako, were grown experimentally in Japan in flooded soil at 15.3 degrees to 28.2 degrees C. (low temperature series) and 16.5 degrees to 34.8 degrees (normal temperature series).
