Time lags in soil moisture meters

, : Time lags in soil moisture meters. N.Z. Dept. Sci. Industr. Res. Dom. Phys. Lab. Rept, 8/7/148: 5

Curves are presented of the time lags elapsing before gypsum-block and nylon-block moisture meters are in equilibrium with the surrounding soil. Experimental results showed the nylon block to be superior in response to soil-moisture changes and to dry out more quickly than gypsum blocks.
