LITTLE success was obtained in the treatment of "resting" or cystic ovaries in mares either with PMS plus commercial prolan or with prolan alone. Mares with " resting " ovaries came on heat spontaneously after about 4 wks. of spring pasturage. Pasturage and seasonal factors appeared to effect a cure.
