Visibilizing microorganisms on membrane filter surface

, : Visibilizing microorganisms on membrane filter surface. Journal of Bacteriology 67(5): 613-613

Filtered micro-organisms and fine material on the surface of a Millipore filter may be seen by phase microscopy when the dried filter is mounted in an immersion fluid of nD = 1.508. High bright phase contrast is recommended and optical staining occurs when the dispersion of the specimen is different from that of a mounting medium.
