A simple field inoculation technique

, : A simple field inoculation technique. Plant Dis Reporter 42(2): 172-173

An easy field inoculation technique using an inoculation tent and dry inoculum is described. An area corre- sponding to 1/2400 acre was encompassed by the bottom of the tent. The height of the tent may be altered according to the size of the test plants. A hole was then made near the top of each end of the tent to insert the nozzle of a duster. A definite amount of inoculum may be dusted into the tent by regulating the flow of material from the duster.
