Assessment of tuber transmission of leaf-roll and rugose mosaic of Potato in West Bengal

, : Assessment of tuber transmission of leaf-roll and rugose mosaic of Potato in West Bengal. Indian Phytopath, 11: 2, 150-152

A preliminary sap inoculation test by the State Agricultural Research Institute, Calcutta, to determine the extent of infection in potato tubers by leaf roll virus and rugose mosaic showed that 54.5% of Darjeeling Red Round tubers from apparently healthy plants from Dhama-tikar carried virus X and 18.1% virus A; 37.5% of tubers from symptomless plants at Noornagar gave plants with symptoms of rugose mosaic.
