Experimental streptococcal mastitis. XII. Further immunological studies in the cow

, : Experimental streptococcal mastitis. XII. Further immunological studies in the cow. Journal of Comparative Pathology 68(1): 121-131

An attempt was made to test a S. agalactiae vaccine under conditions closely resembling those occurring in the field. Exposure to the organism was carried out but the organism was not introduced into the teat canal. It was concluded that the measurable protection was too small to be likely to play a significant role in controlling S. agalactiae mastitis.
