Game food and cover produced during seven years of chemical brush control

, : Game food and cover produced during seven years of chemical brush control. Proc. 15th Sth. Weed Conf. 1962. 16-26

Mixtures of 2, 4-D and 2, 4, 5-T applied as basal, semi-basal and foliage sprays, 2, 4, 5-T alone as a basal spray, and Ammate as a foliage spray, all controlled brush for the 7 years of the observation period when applied 1 year after cutting. The types of plant cover and the plant composition produced, which differed with the technique used, are described, and their abundance and use as food by various game species reported.
