Influence of different colicinogenic properties on the fertility of E. coli

, : Influence of different colicinogenic properties on the fertility of E. coli. CR Soc. Biol, Paris, 60: 615

The progenies of crosses between two colicinogenic strains, each of which produced a different type of colicin, always inherited the colicinogenic properties of the F- parent and sometimes also those of the F+ parent; in the latter case the hybrids produced both types of colicin simultaneously.
