Observations on regeneration in trematodes.

, : Observations on regeneration in trematodes.. Uchen. Zap. gorkov. gos. pedagog. Inn, 27, 177-182

Using trematodes from frogs, it was shown that Gorgodera cygnoides and Polystoma integerrimum were unable to regenerate after losing half the body, or even the posterior third, but Haematoloechus sp. and G. cygnoides were able to repair damage, such as longitudinal cuts or removal of small pieces, in the posterior end of the body.
