Oxidation of tyrosine in the liver of animals poisoned with carbon tetrachloride, and the influence of vitamin B12 on this process

, : Oxidation of tyrosine in the liver of animals poisoned with carbon tetrachloride, and the influence of vitamin B12 on this process. Biohimija. 27: 208-213

Homogenates were prepared from liver of rats, some of which had received 48hbeforedecapitation2 ml CCl4 per kg bodyweight by intraperitoneal injection. The homogenates were extracted with chilled acetone and the extracts were vacuum-dried. For experiments 1 g of the powder was extracted with 9 ml phosphate buffer, 0.2 M, pH 7.4 and a solution was obtained by centrifuging.
