One group of sheep, treated against fascioliasis and trichostrongylosis with s/c doses of 5 ml. of carbon tetrachloride, oral doses of 20 ml. of hexachloroethane and 20 g. of phenothiazine, gained over a period of 35 days an average of 0.4 kg., another group treated with 5 ml. of carbon tetrachloride, 25 ml. of hexachloroethane and 25 g. of phenothiazine gained 1.5 kg. after 30 days, and a third group given 15 g. of phenothiazine against trichostrongylosis gained 1.03 kg. over a period of 47 days, as compared with untreated controls.
