TRICHOMONIASIS in cattle has been virtually eradicated, and no outbreak was recorded in 1959. Only 4 outbreaks of VIBRIO IN in cattle were confirmed. GASTRO-ENTERITIS (228 cases), followed by PNEUMONIA (69) were the commonest causes of death in pigs sent for examination. SWINE FEVER was not recorded.
