The residual effect of submersion on soil structure.

, : The residual effect of submersion on soil structure.. Afr. Soils, 5: 123-148

Soils of the Senegal Valley are flooded annually, are hydromorphic with ferruginous spots and concretions on the natural levees, and are tirsified in the clayey basins. Submersion followed by cultivation led to degradation affecting both rate of filtration and index of structural instability.
