The resistance of codling moth to DDT.

, : The resistance of codling moth to DDT.. Zasc. Rast. Vred. Bolez, 6: 1, 25-7

Trials over 5 years to compare the effects of DDT and calcium arsenate showed that resistance to DDT did not develop within this period, and that more effective control was obtained with 4 applications of a 0.2% solution of DDT than with 7 applications of 0.3% calcium arsenate. Resistant species did develop, however, after 8 years of treatment with DDT.
