The resistance of potato varieties to storage decay caused by Fusanurn sambucinum f.6 and Fusarium coeruleum

, : The resistance of potato varieties to storage decay caused by Fusanurn sambucinum f.6 and Fusarium coeruleum. Amer. Potato J, 33: 249-54

The degree of resistance of 25 named varieties and 21 unnamed seedlings has been determined in experiments carried out at Charlottetown during 1949-51. No variety was more susceptible than Sebago to F. sambucinum f.6, although Teton, Chippewa, Pontiac and Keswick are equally or only slightly less susceptible. Essex, Houma, Cherokee, Irish Cobbler, Pungo, Menominee, Warba, Cayuga and Merrimack show moderate to high resistance.
