The respiratory activity of some soil micro-organisms and the influence of trace elements on the rate of respiration

, : The respiratory activity of some soil micro-organisms and the influence of trace elements on the rate of respiration. Mikrobiol. Zh, 22: 5, 14

The most active oxygen uptake was found with Azotobacter chroococcum, followed by Pseudomonas aurantiaca and Rhizobium meliloti, Bacillus megatherium and B. oligonitrophilus. The respiratory activity of Streptomyces griseus and S. chromogenus was much lower.
