The response of fungi, actinomycetes and phanerogam seeds to MCPA.

, : The response of fungi, actinomycetes and phanerogam seeds to MCPA.. Nuovo G.bot.ital, 62: 1/2, 362-364. bibl.5

The reaction of the following spp. to MCPA +or- glucose was determined: Alternaria tenuis, Aspergillus niger, A. oryzae, Cephalosporium sp., Deuterophoma tracheiphyla, Endothia parasitica, E. radicalis, E. irridstroma, Endothiella gyrosa f Tamba, Graphium ulmi, Ophiobolus oryzinus, Penicillium griseroseum, P. notatum, Rhizoctonia sol ni, Sclerotium rolfsii, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Alternaria solarii, Aspergillus echinalatus, Botrytis cinerea, Curvularia sp., Fusarium culmorum, F. solani, Helminthosporium oryzae, Macrosporium sarcinaeforme, Mucor corymbifer, Rhizopus nodosus, Sclerotium cepivorum, S. oryzae, Trichoderma viride and Verticillium alboatrum. The actinomycetes were more sensitive to MCPA + glucose than MCPA alone while for the other fungi the reverse was the case. Seeds of Polygonum fagopyrum were more sensitive to MCPA + glucose than MCPA alone but maize was not.
