The response of sugarcane to fertilizers as influenced by irrigation

, : The response of sugarcane to fertilizers as influenced by irrigation. Sugar y Azucar. 57: 12, 54

In Puerto Rico the variety P.R.980 when irrigated yielded better with no fertilizer than when it was not irrigated but given 1, 000 Ib. of 15-15-20 per acre. Fertilizer treatment produced higher yields when irrigation was used, and 150 Ib. each of N and P2O5 per acre could be saved by using irrigation as comparep with no irrigation.
