Alexandria Muscat and Rkaciteli transmit the anatomical structure of their stems and roots to their sexual progeny, in addition to other varietal characters. The anatomical structure of Alexandria Muscat is more apparent in hybrids where this variety has been employed as seed parent. The direction of the cross had no effect on Rkaciteli hybrids.
