Notes are given on the morphology and bionomics of the Pentatomid Nezara vifidula (L.) and of the Noctuids Heliothis armigera (Hb.), Plusia (Phytometra) chalcytes (Esp.), Spodoptera (Laphygma) exigua (Hb.), Agro-tis segetum (Schiff.) (segetis Hb.) and Peridroma (Rhyacia) saucia Hb., which attack tomato in southern Italy.
