The results of field tests with chemical weed killers in forage legumes.

, : The results of field tests with chemical weed killers in forage legumes.. Sborn. Czesk. Akad. Zemed, 35: 8, 521-40. bibl. 20

The results are reported of trials with herbicides for controlling weeds in various forage legumes either sown alone, or undersown in cereal crops. Dinoseb was effective against a range of annual weeds, but was relatively less effective against Chenopodium album. MCPB and 2, 4-DB killed both annual weeds (including C. album) and perennial weeds. Their effect on Raphanus raphanistrum was slight.
