The results of trials on the mineral manuring of two varieties of chicory

, : The results of trials on the mineral manuring of two varieties of chicory. Roczn. Nauk rol. 86: 145-62. bibl. 10

The results of 23 field experiments, which were run for 3 years, are described. Each field experiment comprised 4 treatments; no mineral fertilizer and N: P2O5: K2O at 60: 32: 80, 90: 48: 120 and 120: 64: 160 kg./ha., respectively, and with or without FYM in each case. The highest yield of roots and leaves where FYM was not used was obtained with the highest level of mineral manuring. With FYM (200-300 quintals/ha.) the best yield was obtained with the lowest level of mineral manuring.
