, : Tobacco crop responses to subsoil manuring. Agrartudomany. 1/2, 30-2

The following treatments were applied to poor sandy soils used for tobacco growing: F.Y.M. broadcast on the surface; turning over the un-manured sand; and the Egerszegi method of subsoil manuring in which about 500 quintals of organic matter per "cadastral hold" (1.42 ac.) is placed in several layers in the soil, the lowest at a depth of 60 cm.
