, : A note on intestinal schistosomiasis and the snail hosts in Ghana. Ann. trop. Med. Parasit, 59: 3, 312-319

The distribution in Ghana of Schistosoma mansoni infection and of potential snail hosts is described. Biomphalaria pfeifferi gaudi can transmit S. mansoni and is the only species recorded in areas where the disease is endemic. B, sudanica is of little significance in Ghana.
