Accumulation of N, P and K in fresh herbage of yellow fodder lupin in relation to spacing of plants
Mordashev, A.L.; Mordasheva, L.D., 1971: Accumulation of N, P and K in fresh herbage of yellow fodder lupin in relation to spacing of plants. Agrokhimiya. 8, 89-92
Yellow fodder lupin was grown at density of 250, 133, 100, 66 and 44 plants/m2 which gave a spacing of 41, 76, 104, 142 and 224 cm2/plant, respectively. Increases in plant density from 44 to 250/m2 were accompanied by linear increases in fresh fodder yields from 39.7 to 55.2 t/ha. The uptake of N, P and K in total yield increased linearly with increase in plant density, but was similar per unit weight of yield from different treatments.
