Attempted heat therapy of almond trees affected by mosaic. Preliminary note

, : Attempted heat therapy of almond trees affected by mosaic. Preliminary note. Phytopath. medit, 5: 103-8. bibl. 18

The results of the first 2 years' investigation show that mosaic disease is often latent in many of the almond varieties grown in Apulia. Hence visual selection cannot be relied upon for collecting healthy mother plants. Hot-water treatment proved injurious to the plant material and ineffective in curing the virus infection.
