Content of available forms of Fe in certain types of soil and effectiveness of solutions of Fe salts in the control of chlorosis

, : Content of available forms of Fe in certain types of soil and effectiveness of solutions of Fe salts in the control of chlorosis. Trudy nauchn. Konf. molod. uchen. Moldavii., Kishinev. 3: 2, 46-47

Estimations of available Fe in garden soils in Moldavia showed that in carbonate chernozem soil, in which the incidence of chlorosis in apple and pear was highest, the content varied from a trace to 1 mg./100 g. soil; in podzolized chernozem 6-20 mg. ; in brown forest 8-27; and in alluvial-dern 16-45 mg.
