Control of snow blight due to P. infestans by dusting with quintozene

, : Control of snow blight due to P. infestans by dusting with quintozene. Metsatiet. Tutkimuslait. Julk, 71: 6, 27

In Finland the heaviest losses of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) in the nursery and in plantations are caused by P. infestans, 90-100% of the trees being killed in the worst cases. Dusting (20% a.i., 20-50 kg/ha) reduced incidence from 20.9 to 2.1% in field trials, but did not prevent infection by Lophodermium pinastri.
