Effect of several herbicides on the proteolytic activity in squash

, : Effect of several herbicides on the proteolytic activity in squash. Abstr. Meet. Weed Soc. Am, 48

The proteolytic activity of cotyledons from germinating seeds of Cucurbita maxima which normally increases greatly during the first few days was inhibited 63% by dichlobenil, 22% by chlorfenac, 23% by picloram and to lesser amounts by dicamba, atrazine, monuron and chlorpropham. EPTC had no effect.
