Griseofulvin-resistant mutants in dermatophytes. I. The frequency of spontaneous and UV-induced mutants

, : Griseofulvin-resistant mutants in dermatophytes. I. The frequency of spontaneous and UV-induced mutants. Mykosen. 12: 11, 655-660

Attempts to obtain resistant mutants from 2 strs. of Microsporum gypseum were successful only with the microconidial str. 155, Spontaneous mutants occurred with a frequency of 10-8 and UV-induced mutants c. 10-7. In all 13 spontaneous and 74 induced mutants obtained, the level of resistance was the same, and X100 higher than that of the wild str.
